"MESSI AND RONALDO: NOT THE BEST PLAYERS, BUT GRACE FOUND THEM - FR. EBUBE MUONSO"

As the Christian community celebrated Father's Sunday on the first Sunday of May, the Spiritual Director of Holy Ghost Adoration Ministry Uke, Rev. Fr. Ebube Muonso, delivered a powerful sermon on the importance of Grace in achieving success.
Using the biblical story of David and Goliath as a case study, Fr. Ebube Muonso emphasized that Grace is the divine empowerment that enables individuals to accomplish great feats despite their limitations. "David's life was empowered by Grace to the extent that he was able to kill the giant Goliath with just a stone," he exclaimed.
Fr. Ebube Muonso further illustrated his point using the examples of renowned footballers, Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo. "Messi and Ronaldo are not the best players, but Grace found them," he said, emphasizing that Grace is a destiny enhancer that can propel individuals to greatness.
According to Fr. Ebube Muonso, the word "Grace" appears 318 times in the Bible, underscoring its significance in the lives of believers. "Grace is what makes one successful in any endeavour," he stressed.
In his Father's Sunday message, Fr. Ebube Muonso also urged men to take their responsibilities as husbands and fathers seriously. "Men should keep their homes, be prayer warriors, and train their children in a godly way," he advised.
He prayed for men and those yet to marry, asking God to give them wives who would bring them peace of mind.
In an interview with our correspondent, Lady Chidi Izunwanne, Branch Manager of UBA Plc, Awka, wished Fr. Ebube Muonso a happy Father's Sunday and prayed that God would continue to empower him in his ministry.
Onyi Okeke, Regional Manager of UBA Plc, New Market Road, Onitsha, described Fr. Ebube Muonso as a father to all and wished him more unction to function effectively.
As the service came to a close, Fr. Ebube Muonso prayed for the congregation, asking God to grant them Grace in all their endeavours.
