"Prepare Your Way Before the Lord": Fr. Ebube Muonso's Emotional Call to Repentance
By Okafor Benjamin
In a powerful sermon at his parish in Blessed Iwene Tansi Umudioka, Anambra State, Fr. Ebube Muonso urged his congregation to reposition themselves and return to Jesus, emphasizing the importance of spiritual stability for success.
"We must stand strong in the Lord, especially as we enter the Advent season," he said, his words bringing tears to the eyes of the congregation.
Fr. Ebube Muonso also spoke out against the perceived genocide in Nigeria, criticizing the passivity of Christians in the face of Islamist suppression. "When you are stable spiritually, you will be successful," he stressed, adding that "your venue in the realm of Spirit determines your revenue" ¹.
This emotional message comes amid reports of escalating violence and persecution of Christians in Nigeria, with thousands killed and hundreds kidnapped in recent years.
May Fr. Ebube Muonso's words inspire us to seek spiritual renewal and stand strong in our faith.
